I baught this belkin router at a yard sale, when I got it there was no disc to install it on my computer,I have hooked it up and it says I am connected but when I try to get on line it can't find the sever.

From what I can tell you are using Mozilla Firefox Try using Internet Explorer if ip address id not valid it will tell you Internet Explorer cannot display webpage In order to renew ip address these are the steps you will want to take:
1. Ensure the equipment is connected correctly(Ethernet cord from modem to Internet port on router
2.Open network connections Win XP:Start/Run/Type ncpa.cpl
Vista/Win 7 Start/search bar/type ncpa.cpl
3.This will bring you to your network connections window
4.If using XP: Double click on wireless connection and hit the support tab. Ensure it is assigned by DHCP and the ip address should start with 192.
5. If Vista Or Windows 7 Right click on wireless conenction and hit properties. Uncheck version Internet Protocol Version 6
6. Click and Highlight internet protocol Version 4 and hit properties
7. ensure that it shows obtain ip address and obtain a dns server automatically
8.After go to Command Prompt (Win XP) Start/Run/Type CMD
Windows7/Vista:Start Start/All Programs/Accessories/Right click on command prompt and hit run as administrator then hit continue type in these commands.
1.netsh int ip reset reset.log
2.netsh int ip delete arpcache
3.netsh winsock reset
4.ipconfig /flushdns
9. Restart Computer hope this helps please rate thank you

I use cell phone for internet, but some even thought i am connected to internet, but i cannot access any website or internet. browser shows msg web page not found. i am using win Xp. i am samsung cell

If you are getting "web page not found" error message, then you are not connected to the internet. Are you using PdaNet as the tethering program? You should have this installed on both the phone and your computer.
