My Sony Grand Wega 60wf655/kdf60xs955 I'm not sure which is the correct model #. The all the color is fading out, or just picking up blue, green could it need another lamp.

No, you have a failing optic block. This is the polarizers failing inside. Very expensive to repair. Better off buying a new TV.

Blue spots on Sony WEGA KDF60XS955

Thats caused by a bad optical block. The cost of that repair will almost always be greater than replacing the TV.Thats a very common issue with alot of Sony DLP models which suffered that optical block issue with the blobs of color usually blue or green

Blue hue on left side and tiny blue dots on most of screen. The dots seem to dissapear and reappear if you look closely. I changed bulb about two months ago and it seemed to just get worse since then.

The blue hue on the side and dots are most likely a damaged (burnt light or optical light engine).

This is very common and you may want to contact Sony as there were programs for some models even if OUT OF WARRANTY.

The lamp in the set shines into a a L shaped engine with baffles and lens (red, green, and blue segments) and Blue is closest to the heat from the lamp and usually is the first place to get this type of damage.

I do not enjoy giving bad news but this is what I am sure is your problem.

If this information and a honest answer told you something you did not know rate this solution as very helpful as I do this here for free.

Sony grand wega kdf 50we655 blue dots everywhere

thats a common symptom for that model which is usually related to the optical block. Very exspensive repair. Check with a sony authorized repair center as Sony has recognized the problem and offer assistance with certain models yours may be one of the ones affected.

Tv has little blue dots

Once again, this is a problem with the optical block or light engine assy. The LCD panels have been damaged by excessive heat from the lamp. Sony has been directed by the New York state attorney general's office to extend warranties on these sets for models going back 4 years. Call Sony at 1-800-222-SONY for assistance.

Blue hue on screen

Probably the optics block. It needs to be replaced.

However, it looks like you're in luck. Sony will reimburse you.
