Are you testing the spark through a new spark plug?
some of these XL models developed a bad pulse generator.
It's part of the Stator, I can't imagine it went bad just from sitting though

Honda fit gas fumes

My Honda Fit had a strong gas smell. For 2 years I lived with it. I took it to 3 different mechanics and none could find anything. They couldn't smell it. I did find a Honda thread that discussed this same issue, and people found out that some of that year and model Fit had left the factory with spark plugs that weren't properly tightened, so gas leaks by. Eventually, the spark plug(s) work their way out of your engine, like it did with me going 70 mph on 93 in NH. Traumatic experience. Spark plug and melted coil replaced and no more gas smell. Honda must know about this. People have been complaining. There should be a recall.

I will be driving down the road and the check engine light comes on and the engine stops running i let it sit for 10-15 minutes and it starts again

What model and year honda do you have? If it's an accord, 90-93, take a look at your distributor by checking for spark, when the engine dies. If no spark, it's usually a bad distributor on those year accords.

I have a 93 honda accord and if i start it up after it sits for a long time its runs fine for a while and then it shut off i have to wait a few mins and it starts back up I've replaced the spark plugs fuel...

I would take this vehicle to your local auto repair service garage that services Hondas and ask to have the engine analyzed.

There's a good chance that they can find what is wrong with your vehicle, without putting a lot of 'parts' on the vehicle.

Ideally, the dealership for Honda should perform the work, if they work on Hondas that old

I wish you luck on this.

My '93 ST was running fine when I parked in my garage about 3 days ago. This morning it felt and sounded like it was running on 3 and a half cylinders. Rough running under acceleration.

check your spark plugs, next check for spark. you may have a bad plug cap, try and screw them in a little bit gently, sometimes they lose the contact between the wire and the cap, carbon issue.
