Water dispenser not working but ice maker does

I have a GE side by side, model ESH25XGRB BB. The water dispenser does not work but the ice maker and ice dispenser work? What could be the cause?

    I have the same problem and I changed the filter and that didn't fix the problem, still ice, no water.

    You need to replace your water valve . It should be in the back side of the refrigerator down tower the floor. Your ice maker water vale is in the same place if you change one change both the ice maker will go next.

    Everything else on the refrigerator works including dispensing dispensing water it's just not dispensing the ice to come out is there an easy fix solution

The water line freezes inside the freezer door. There is now an add-on water line heater you can install to thaw the line.

Check water cut off then check your water line it may have a kink in it the next thing would be the pump for the water on the back of the frig if you have water dispenser and ice you have two sided pump just because you are getting water does not mean the water is going to the ice compartment. Also unplug and plug your ice maker this may reset it wait 24 hours it can take that long to start working again. .

If your model is the PSS25MGMWW and the water dispenser is not workingthe problem is most likely the=> WR57X10026 Water Inlet Valve Most times the ice dispenser and water to the ice maker will continue to work properly while the half of the water control valve will fail and stop water to the dispenser or ice maker. Check for freezer temp - if it is not 10 degrees or below the ice maker thermostat will not turn the ice maker cycle on by removing the frozen ice in tray and then refilling it for next dump cycle. And if freezer temp is high you may have leaking door gasket, dirty condenser coils, improperly operating self defroster which raises temps, low refrigerant.

GE GSH25JFRF BB ice maker doesn't dispense. Water dispenses and ice maker makes ice but won't come out.
There should be a plastice hinge cover on the left top hinge on freezer door. Take it off and press the plug together firmly. Try that and let me know, Sea Breeze

Ice maker bad or the ice maker water valve mounted on the same bracket as the dispenser is bad. These frigs are prone to bad ice makers after a few years.

Do you get water to the connector at the bottom of the freezer door ? if you do then the water pipe in the door is probably frozen - read new door ! if not then check thw electrical connector at the bottom of the freezer door as they have a habit of corroding.
