When i turn on the camera the lcd screen is black and when i turn off the lcd the viewfinder is also black, no objects are seen, menu items can be seen but no objects

Think that you might have accidentally pressed the DISP or DISPLAY button on the back of your camera. This manually turns the LCD display on and off to save batteries. You would then use the optical viewfinder in its place. To turn the screen back on, just press the DISP button one more time.

If you're asking about the electronic viewfinder (where you put your eye to the back of the camera), that can be turned on/off via the SEL button at the button right corner of the viewfinder. If the viewfinder or LCD stays off after cycling through the SEL button selections, I would say your camera needs to be serviced at a repair shop.
