We would be happy to help you with getting your DISH Networkremote to control your LG TV. We're going to start by pressing and holding the TVbutton located on the top of your remote until all mode button back lights comeon, and then release. Use the number buttons to enter the codes for your LG TV; here are some of the codes we currently have: 627, 505, 520, 506, and 581, then press the pound (#) button. To check if the code works try severaldifferent functions on the remote to make sure it will properly operate yourTV. Remember that some codes may not be compatible with your equipment. Programming my remote control (which is a dish network remote control) to operate my 42" sanyo LCD
In order to program the remote to a TV set, hold the clear "TV" button in the upper left hand corner four four seconds or until all four of the mode buttons light. Next press in one of the three digit codes below followed by pound (#) Remote codes: 590, 683, 720, 591, 543, 593, 813, 542, 533, 652, 726, 611, 500, 503, 627, 661, 956, 591, 694, 666, 252 After trying each code press the volume and power buttons, if they control your TV set be sure to press the "SAT" button.

I have dish network and need a remote code for a LG 42LH30 where do I find
Hello!!! I do hope that you were able to find these codes, but if not, here they are, with instructions for them!!!!

You will want to follow these steps:
1. Hold down the clear TV button until all lights light up at the top of the remote
2. Punch in the 3-digit code
3. Press the # (pound) button below the 9
4. Try to volume and powering the tv on/off. If one or more of these functions do not work, start over from step 1, with a different code!

We have a 42 inch LG tv and just had Dish Network installed on Wed (DVR & HD) and within 2 hours of the installation person leaving the remote to TV 1 stopped working....DN sending another type of...

From the user manual,for 5 digit remotes (like most Direct TV units) use codes 11758 and 10178, then 01377, listed in order of preference. For 4 digit remotes use 1758, then 0178. For 3 digit remotes (Echostar or Dish Network) use code 627

  1. Program the remote to operate the device (for example, a TV), using the codes or Power Scan.

  2. Press and hold the mode button (for example, TV Mode for a TV), until all the mode buttons light up, then release.

  3. Press the PAGE UP on the remote control.

  4. Press # (pound) on the remote control.

To turn Limited Mode off, use the same procedure but press PAGE DOWN instead of PAGE UP on the remote. This procedure works for TV, VCR, and AUX modes.

For DISH Network users: I found that the Citizen brand remote code #523 worked for the sound, mute and power. This is for the remote that comes with the standard DVR, im not sure about any others.
