My hoover floormate h3060 has not been used for some time, when I went to use it, it would not dispense the cleaner..The last time I used it, I used a mixture of amonia and borax. I think the hose is clogged. What should I do??

Hi there! Sometimes it is necessary to prime the trigger to get the solution flowing. Try these quick steps.

1. Recline the handle.
2. Pump the trigger vigorously about 60 times.
3. Power the cleaner on and squeeze the trigger for 60 seconds.

The cleaner should start to dispense the solution. Be sure you are using only the recommended cleaning solution to avoid internal damage. If your Floormate is still not dispensing there could be an issue with your pump. We would recommend taking the cleaner in to a Hoover authorized service center for repair. I was having the same issue with my NEW just out of box Hoover FH40010. First run on the floor was great then the water/cleaner stopped dispensing!!! I found that when is assembled it out of the box I did not have the handle "plugged-in" properly!! I reattached it to where there is NO gap in the handle when pushed firmly into place and locked in the base. WATER SOLUTION NOW WORKS PERFECTLY!!!
