Lamp went out & replaced it but no picture. Sound comes on!!!

Have you replaced the lamp since purchasing the unit. If it has been at least two years since you brought the television, then its time for a new one. The lamp door is usually located on the back of this set but some times on the side. Remove the lamp and it may be shattered in its housing, replacing it with Lamp part # D95-LMP lamp.

D95-LMP housing won't install. Old housing slides in/out easily New replacement Toshiba brand lamp and housing won't slide in. Afraid to force it of course.

These can be a pain but if you slide it up in the set and keep wiggling it it should go in.

XL 5200 bulb replace and NO Picture or Sound

3 times blink error code shows Lamp Door is not seated / fixed properly, please recheck it and make sure that door close safety switch is pressed as this switch sends error signal to system control chip.

I have a Toshiba 50HM66....I turn it on and after a minute or two the screen goe black but the volume is still present......The picture may come back a few minutes later but go again.......Im wondering if...

I have similar problem with my Toshiba and I was wonder if you ever were able to get a solution. Pls advise?

You have a safty switch open most likely on the door you took off to replace lamp
