I cant unmute my phone

they have a separate speaker for music and speaker phone , that speaker is faulty and needs to be replaced

It could be a problem with the Mike & Speaker.
Try to remove the Battery and do a hard Reboot to the phone
Then try to check

sounds like your ear-piece is out most phone have external speakers on the phone which will allow you to hear the ringtone but if the ear piece is out you wont be about to hear you callers

I have a headset for my ps3 and i hooked it up and everything but i cant hear myself talk and neither can the other people online. Two people said its unmuted and i unmuted it and it does the same thing. Why?

First all I suggest you to format this phone as factory default, go in menu>>settings there is a reset factory default option select it; this will reset your phone to the default settings.

Make sure you loose all the data stored in phone.

Call your muted A747 from another phone.
Answer the call.
On your A747 select Options with the top left button.
Select the first entry, Mute/Unmute.

This fixed the same problem on my A747. Before doing this the Mute/Unmute had no effect. After doing the repair, all is OK.

Throw your phone against the wall and buy a new one.

when you say no sound, that is very vague.. No sound when it rings, no dial tone, what do you mean when you say no sound.
