Ipod 4th gen freezes even on the restart screen.

I'm sorry but the 4th generation iPod Nano does not have an FM radio, it is only available on iPod Nano 5th generation.

To factory reset on my ipod classic...  slide the hold switch to hold  then slide it back  then press the center and menu button for up to 60 seconds.

my firend took hers in and got anew one when u shake it does it change the siong

Try holding the Play/Pause button down for a few seconds. Like maybe 5 or so, thats how my 3rd gen turns off.

connect to apple updates and restore it

what you do when it does this is hold down the center and menu button and it will restart your ipod, this also helps if it freezes on you.
