Not getting high depth of bass sony MHC-RV777d

Request the operaitng guide for model MHC-881 directly from Sony.

If your system was not used for a long time , then there are more possibilities for failure of belt . I have also faced the same problem. Better get the belts replaced in SONY Service Centres

MHC-RV777D shuts off itself because of protection mode that is activated to avoid further damage due to defective amplifier output IC in unit.
You need to check/ replace output amplifier IC to solve this issue, if you are not familiar with electronics stuff repair then local repair shop will do this job for you.

Is it possible that the speakers are out of phase, where one speaker is moving out, the other is moving in, resulting in zero bass?

Other than checking wires, making sure + on amp is linked to + on speaker, try changing the eq settings, or sit them next to a wall - walls help bass a lot.

If you have an output function at the back of your mini HIFI then surely you can.What you need is a Dual RCA [from the mini HIFI] to 3.5 mm Stereo Jack [to the PC]. The cable is easily available in the market...go to this site n you'll get the idea http://www.vpi.us/cable-audio.html

You should first confirm that Audio/Video output cable from the hifi is connected to the TV , then you should connect the game console to the input section in ur hifi system. And finally see if the TV is in AV mode and also see if the HIFI is detecting in the input mode.

I have a SONY MHC-GNZ88D Mini Hifi System. Everytime problem while play a CD or a DVD. The problem display "DESK ERROR". CD & DVD working but Next, Fwd, Stop etc buttons are not working.please help me.
