Belkin Universal Wireless Extender Set-Up Problems

I'm unable to get my Belkin Wireless Universal Extender to successfully connect, find and boost my wireless connection. Upon set-up I successfully "synched" the unit to my router's IP address using the "Auto" button, but as soon as I move the extender 5 feet away from the router, it's unable to "re-find" the signal, and "boost" it! It worked beautifully when the router was on the other side of my house -- placed the extender mid-way in the house, 3 rooms away from the router! But now, I can't get the extender to re-find the signal after synching it to the router -- in the same room! Help! I've reset and unplugged the extender multiple times, and successfully synched it to the router using the Auto button multiple times. Thank you!

This is the password or passkey that you normally use to connect to your wireless router.
Refer to and follow instructions especially pages 4 and 10 - 12 , 16,17,18, 12 You can use reset to restore back to out the box status.

I have just installed a BT N mode Hub, and my Belkin Wireless G Universal Range Extender is now not working. Help please!

make sure wireless channel number should be the same on BT hub and on belkin. BT hub is normally on Auto channel change it to a channel number usually 1 and 11 are the best for coverage and then chose the same channel number in belkin.

For best results, you should connect it directly to the other router with an ethernet cable.
