I had the same problem with Goldstar DH404EY5.
The micro-switch under the power on/off button went bad.
I could not find a new switch , just drilled a hole in the cabinet
and mounted external sw .
Other micro-sw for setting humidity level also failed.
1) check power outlet
2) remover cabinet and check glass fuse on power supply board that power cord attaches to.

A dehumidifier is similar to having another refrigerator plugged in. It is recommended that it be plugged into a circuit of its own. If you are talking about the house fuse or circuit breaker it could be the circuit has to many products plug into the that house circuit. I would suggest moving it to another area of the house to see if it also blows that fuse. Hopefully this is helpful. -Matt
