My daughter got a timex 1440 digital watch for Christmas there was no users manual in the package and none of us can figure out how to set the time, it is currently in military time

Buttons are numbered as followed:
Start/Stop is button 1
Lap/Rst is button 2
Indiglo is button 3
Mode is button 4

a) Press 4 to select "TIME" mode
b) Press 2 and hold for 2 sec to select "SET" mode, second digits blink.
c) Press 1 to reset digits to 00.
d) Press 4. Minute digits blink
e) Press 1 to set minutes.
f) Press 4. Hour digits blink.
g) Press 1 to set hours.
h) Follow same patter to set day of month, month, etc...

Can't change time
Hi,
Try to pull the roll handle up a little until it clicks, then, usually anti ~ clockwise will set time only, clock ~ wise will set date. This should solve 'em. :)

I don't know how to set my timex 1440 sports watch
1. it is easy all you have to do is hit mode


2.then you will se all zeros


3.hit mode again

4.then you will see a number blinking then press start/stop button and it will change to the next number


5.then just set it to your clock time and your done!!!!!!

hold adjust button down at same time press mode and start/stop button until it beeps.
