I would first check the fuse, if you look in your owners manual it will tell you where the fuse box is. On he fuse box cover it will tell you the radio/cd fuse log a tion.
Its probably a lens failure, its quite common, try cleaning the lens,
if all else fails, try turning the unit upside down and load the disc, sometime this for some reason - resets the lens if slighty out but its not fact, just something i heard
It can't be done on any slot loading CD/DVD drive. It needs to be loaded into an old style tray loading drive. It sits in the indentation in the middle of the tray. These drives are available in external USB boxes or you could load the CD in an old PC and network it across to the Mac.
I have found that any "burned" discs will not be read on older cd/radio combinations. The newer sets will tell you on the box what formats can be read...I also found this to be true on dvd players
try taking the fuse out and back in of the fuse box in your car. if that doesn't work than it's prolly broke. if you can find the same cd player new. buy it and then return the old one in the new box with the receipt.
i dont a solution but i have identic problem:
I have a Becker silverstone 2660. I search the box to load the 6 CD. Where can I find this part?

The case needs unscrewing to reveal more of the internals. Go carefully and peer inside wherever you can to fiddle the CD back into place or out of the box. It's in there somewhere, removing panels will get there.
