Does the 'USB' branch of the tree show the USB ports?
Is there an 'Unknown Devices' branch of the tree?

Either way, the software "device-drivers" for the USB ports are not installed, or not installed correctly, and so you'll get the symptoms that you've observed -- power without device-recognition.

Access http://support.dell.com and click "Detect My Computer", and download and install the device-drivers for the USB ports.

CD does not work on my compurter

Find settings and set usb to charge. It may not want to cbarge without your permission because the usb port can be for charging and data transfer. Otherwise i would say its not rechargeable... but i doubt that.

All I want is support of a 4 port usb hub. What is the voltage and amps of the power supply. Don't you support it any more.

The Standard voltage for USB is 5V and a USB 2.0 port on your computer will give you 1A.
I checked on eBay, a good source of information on what is available and several 4 port powered USB hubs are rated at 0.5A per port.
The ones that quote specifications on their power supplies say 5V 2A.

There is little support for them as there is very little in them that can go wrong, and if they are fail, it is simpler to replace them. One i saw while looking was under $15, shipped world wide.

Dell M6500 w Eports Dock setup rollup Serial Dig. Tablet Works Can not find (10.09 ver)

The GTCO drivers only recognize Com ports 1 and 2, if you are using a serial port for communications.

If you are using the USB driver for Wintab, the drivers may not recognize the E-Ports.

I would try the USB driver and cable,(CAUTION) the RUD III,gets its power from the USB cable,so don't plug in a power supply and the USB cable.

Only use the USB cable when using the 10.9 drivers.

I have the Logitech Driving Force wheel with pedals and mine says on the bottom of the wheel, M/N E-UC2 5Vdc--.100ma and 24Vdc--.750ma. There is no USB before the 5Vdc. So which voltage is right? ...

There should be a USB dongle which plugs into the USB port. This would be the 5V @ 100ma. The wheel itself has to be connected to the mains by a power supply which should have come with it. The power supply provides the 24V @ 750ma. The wheel communicates with the PS3 through the USB dongle.

Power Supply Failure ? I plugged a USB into front panel and lost all power,Is there a fuse or has the supply blown

It could very well be a power supply issue. Try narrowing down the source of the problem:
Does this power problem no matter what USB device you plug into your computer? If it is just one device, then it is something wrong with that particular device. I'd recommend replacing or getting it repaired.
If it happens with all devices it could be a problem with the power supply or USB port on your computer. Try a different USB port on your computer or have it looked at by a local technician.

Have a memorrie card fr my pitures but need t know how to put on compurter

You have to use a memory card reader (you can get them on ebay or at Best Buy), or use the cord for the small camera usb port to your computer usb port. Your computer should automatically recognize it when you connect it. Hope this helps.

Usb ports on motherboard are not working. They do not seem to have any power. None of the ports work. Not even the front ones. I've tried reinstalling the drivers, installing different drivers, I've...

If the usb ports don't seam to have power, I suspect that at some time something was plugged into one of the ports, either at an angle or upside down, shorting the +5 vdc supply. Usually the supply voltage is fed to the ports thru a "zero ohm resistor", basically a fuse that blows protecting the power supply. You may be able to find and replace it but much easier is to install a 4 port usb pci card. They're cheap and you can go to 2.0.

Minolta 2300w

color light has nothing to do with this, first try once more to reinstall drivers, if still shows wrong printer, then you have to upgrade firmware, because if you installed the correct mc2300w drivers and status monitor tell you wrong printer there can be 2 things. firmware is broken or printer/computer usb port is broken. so if you can use another usb port or another computer try it or LPT cable. and as a laast thing update firmware.
