Whirlpool Duet GEW9250

My front loading duet dryer seems to have a mind of its own. The LEDs on the front seem to light up whenever they want and some of the buttons don't operate the lights they are supposed to. The dryer works enough in manul mode to dry clothes, but when I try to increase the heat, the light for the end of cycle signal moves. What would cause the control panel to freak out like this? There are only two major components in this thing, the front control panel and the control circuit card.
