if you want to delete music from your Opal M4002 mp3 player, all you need is use the usb of the player and connect to your computer. If the computer recognizes your usb then a folder will pop up and you choose open folder. Then you can right click on the music you want to delete from the player. That is all you have to do.
Download the latest firmware upgrade from www.rcaopal.com to restore the player. The firmware upgrade file will be on the "Download Upgrades" section of the website.
Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.
