Okay, its been my M4002 can't be connected to by me Vista. It worked a day ago, but today, I can't seem to connect to it, when I plug in my USB cable, it takes a few seconds, then my C:\OPAL appears, but when I try to access the Internal Storage, it loads, and never enters it, or at least, nothing appears. Likewise with my Yahoo! Music Jukebox. When I plug in my M4002, when I try to transfer songs to it, it says "No Devices Connected".
This started after I put in a few pictures for the first time. I placed in, 30 MB of pictures or so, took out the M4002 plug, and now when I try it, I get the problem I have presented.
People, i dont see the fuckin word internal storage anywhere!!!!! i have been working on this for 3 weeks and im pissed. i going to alabama state tommmorow and i have noithingnto listen to. i just wanna kill myself.

To charge it from your computer? Any usb cable that you can plug into your player should at least charge it
Take it to a computer/electronics shop and ask for a usb cable to fit it. There are two types, charging and charging/data, with the data cable having all wires connected through so you can put music on your player from the computer.
I checked on eBay and put in "rca m4002 cable". I found one for under $7 including postage, charging only.
Sounds like you do not have the drivers for Vista. Try downloading the latest software for the Mini from the site below. Unistall the old software from your machine, reboot and install the new. It should work now. I once had a similar problem and also had to reformat the Mini also.
My Philips MP3 player had the same problem after I saved some non-music
files onto it through USB connection. After I deleted these files, it
seems to be working okay again. If it doesn't work, I guess you can
also try re-formating it.
try plugging the USB connection at the back of you computer. If still didn't work out, delete the old driver install the new one, be sure cables are connected and intact. If still didn't work out bring your scanner to the service center near you

Unfortunately I don't have a solution for you, but know that you are not alone! I am having the same problem as of three days ago. I have tried multiple computers and even got a new USB cable but the problem continues. Frustrating! Please let me know if you find a solution.
