Unlock parental control RTD160

Hello, somebody entered a password in the parental control menu of my home theater and now I'm not able to play any movie besides incredibles or Cars!!...I've tried disconnecting all cables insides (I was looking for a battery but I didn't find it) but it does'nt work.... please how I do unlock the parental control????

    It seems like everyone said pretty much everything. I would love to go on myspace and can't. Even photobucket is blocked for me. They thinbk Myspace is back from what they hear on the TV, but it seems like they can't trust me.

    I have friends I haven't spoken to for years because I can't get on myspace.

    It hurts and I'm trying so hard to figure out how I can get pass this.

    My parents have put a block on stuff but it only slows down webpages and seriously makes me want to throw the computer out of the window!

I have an addition to my comment: I have to try to guess the password to unblock the parental controls! Does anyone have good strategies to find out passwords?

Write all you kneed to do is is go to all programs and go to assesories and go to comand prompt type in net user username of the person then bram * that will tell you are you sure you want to change your password the change it

The sloution is to get the password mine is blocked to and i don't know the password soo i am pretty much screwed at this point...GET THE PASSWORD do NOT unplug all computer plugs it doesn't work!!

Our community center blocked Myspace Facebook and all instant messaging sites, we all think its really stupid, cause its a teen center. and they have 4 computers and no one ever uses them anymore cause we cant get on anything, we use vtunnel and unblock world.com but it still does work. how do we unblock the blocking thing!?

Option 1) Download a free key logger from download.com and then install this on the locked computer. You can then find any passwords to the parental controls. You may need to download on another computer and use a USB pen drive to transfer it.

Option 2) Search for facebook on Google, under the results look for the link called "Cached". Parental controls programs will fail to block this.

What is the child lock system in home theaters (Sony?)
1. Insert the disc you want to lock. If the disc is playing then stop the disc playing.
2. Press DISPLAY while the system is in stop mode.
3. Press Up/Down to select 53ab9ff.jpg Parental Control then Press cb5d4c6.jpg 4. Options for Parental Control appears, Press Up/Down to Select ON and then press cb5d4c6.jpg.
5. If you have not entered password the display for registering appears.
6. Enter the 4 digit password using number buttons and then press cb5d4c6.jpg.
6. The display for confirming password appears.
7. If you have already registered a password then just press cb5d4c6.jpg button and tv returns to control mnu display.

Hi my lg ht303su dvd player wont eject its saying locked.
select rating on lock menu then press play input password when asked if you forgot password use 210499 and press enter enter it again and press enter to verify password you can select rating of lock 1 to 8 . one is the most restricting option.. if you select unlock the dvd has no parental control on.

Region free for RCA RTD160
Try to find out by looking at the menu of the dvd. play the DVD without a CD Rom in it then press stop and menu at the same time. It will let you select a region for it to play. But sometimes you can only do that with a different DVD players. so0me DVD players are only made to play on what you already have it on.

Pasted directly from the user manual. (Had a very hard time finding it, actually...)

"Restore to default settings
When the receiver is on and the disc tray is opened, press
SUBWOOFER for 5 seconds until the screen goes black,
then the initial language selection menu will appear.
All system settings will be restored to default, the parental
password will also be reset."

Wow. How easy is it for kids to just read the manual and figure THAT one out, eh? (Wow. Way to go, RCA! Whoo! *laughs*)

For your convenience, I am posting the user manual on my personal server for your download. I had to jump through a lot of hoops to get to it. It wasn't even on RCA's site, either. I'll make it easy for you.
