My printer goes 2-3 pages and then stops and waits then starts up again. After 30-40 pages I get a shuttle fault error .

Tally t6218 prints and stops with no errors

The power supplies are known for shutting the printer down without any error if that is the symptom, replace the power supply.

Tally Printer the error is some times Hammer

In the T6215 Maintenance Manual the fault message: Hammer Voltage has been replaced, in the T6218, with:

Hammer Voltage 1
There is a new fault message for the T6218. It is:

Hammer Voltage 2
Explanation: A high resistance coil fault has likely occurred in one or more of the hammer coils
Note: This fault message will have been preceded by printing slow-down attempts associated with On-The-Fly thermal monitoring of hammer bank temperature.

Corrective Action:
Check the hammer bank for defective hammer coils.
Confirm that hammer drive board is functioning properly.

How do I clear a "config 1" error on my tally t6218 printer

Click start>run>type services.msc. The services window will come up and you can right-click on the Print Spooler and then click Restart. This will clear the print queue and hopefully allow you to print. Good Luck. Let me know if you have any questions.

I have T6218 printer and it prints for about TWO minutes then starts slowing down and then stops printing showing an error of "HAMMER VOLTAGE 2". I relaced the Hammer coil kit in Banks 1 and 2. still same...

If you haven't fixed? If you don't get Hammer Voltage 2 error immediately, then sounds like your blower underneath the ribbon deck which keeps the hammerbank kewl is not working... Be careful but you can get shelf or cart about printer height and remove the ribbon deck with ribbon & cables still connected from the print. Rotate and sit it on the shelf or a cart. Start printing and see if the black blower(in the middle with a little black air duct going to the hammerbank) is working.

One other thing their's qty 7 hammer coils per hammer bank, if you have replaced the 1st 2 reading from left to right with hammerbank installed in printer, then you have qty 5 more which 1 of the 5 left is causing Hammer Voltage 2.

Have any other ??? feel free to call at x311

Printer problem

on photos, If you have a laser printer with half a meg of RAM and you try and print a full page graphic at 300dpi you only get half a page because the printer runs out of RAM. You can get a full page by printing at 150dpi. could also be that the encoder strip has become fogged with aerosol, and needs gentle cleaning. Good luck
