Blue screen: Not Support!

Our TV turns on, but the blue screen says "Not Support!". Any suggestions? There's no sound or picture, just the blue screen with the words "Not Support" flashing around the screen.

Thanks for the suggestion. Actually when there's a problem with the satellite receiver, the blue screen says "No Signal" - this one is saying "Not Support". I got this message for about 12 hours each time I turned the TV on, and then once it worked for about 5 minutes yesterday and then the screen went black. The next time I turned it on, it said "Not Support" again.

It sounds like you have no signal being detected by the TV. Check your connections to the TV from your cable box or satelite reciever to be sure they're plugged in tightly. If you have a DVD player or VCR, try watching something from one of them to see if you get a picture. If you do, then your problem may be with your cable box or satelite reciever, and not the TV.
Good luck.

I am getting the same thing. I previously fixed the AC problem myself before by replacing the fuse. That was about 2 years ago. Now a new problem. This TV is a piece of junk. Never buying polaroid again. Anyway, I am getting the "not support" message on my HD signal 2 channel that is hooked up to my Xbox360....

Wait about 30 minutes and replug to AC power and redo the cabling. Switch on the TV and see if it works..

I get sound but no picture

If the screen went dark blue, this is the way that sets mute the video to protect the tube. However If the screen is very bright blue with possibly blue lines going through the screen, either the blue gun in the CRT has failed which is unusual but can happen or the driver transistor/IC which drives the blue gun has gone short circuit. If you know how to use a meter, you can perform a comparison check by comparing say the red O/P TX with the blue O/P TX. Ian

TV turned off itself

Can you still turn it on?
If so, does it stay on with sound?

If the sound is ok and the picture is blue (even when changing channels, inputs, etc.) the lamp may have gone out.

Can you see the TV menu when you press the menu button on the remote or TV?
