Disc region incorrect

This is everything that I have:


Try this general bush unlock:

Press Open tray

Press 2, 8, 1, 2 and Enter to get to the manufacturers settings

Select the required region, by pressing Enter on 9 for multi region

Press Close tray

If that didn't work, try this:
Try this one:
1. Press the Open button on your remote control to open the drive tray
2. Press the 9 button on your remote control
3. Press the 7 button on your remote control
4. Press the 3 button on your remote control
5. Press the 5 button on your remote control
6. Using the on screen menu, highlight the region option
7. Press the Right button on your remote control
8. Using your remote control, select 1 for region 1, 2 for region 2, and so on, or 0 for multi-region playback
9. Press the Enter button on your remote control
10. Press the Open button on your remote control to close the drive tray


Then there is the following and good luck:
Bush 1000

1. Open the tray
2. Insert a disc with desired region code, but do not close the disc tray
3. Press 0, 1, 2, 3, Play

Bush 1005 / 2004A / DVDAV7

1. Press the OPEN/CLOSE on the remote
2. Press 3, 3, 0, 8, 8
3. Press the button for the desired region or 0 for multi-region
4. Press OPEN/CLOSE
5. The on-screen display will now indicate the currently selected region

Bush 2000

1. Open the disc tray
2. Insert RC-1 DVD, don't close the disc tray
3. Press 0, 1, 2, 3
4. Press PLAY

To activate RC 2:
1. Open the disc tray
2. Insert RC-2 DVD, don't close the disc tray
3. Press RETURN and PLAY

Bush 2002 / 2004

1. Press OPEN
2. Press 7, ENTER, 7
   A menu should appear (codefree=13)

1. Press OPEN
2. Press 2, 0, 0, 1

1. Turn on the player
2. Press OPEN/CLOSE
3. Press ZOOM
4. Press A/B
5. Press Up, Left, Down, Right
   A note should be displayed.

2. Press 2, 8, 1, 2, Enter
3. Set the country code to 13 and press Close

1. Press OPEN

4. Use UP/DOWN to select region
5. Press STOP several times to set the region

1. Press OPEN, SETUP
2. Go to "Preferences"

4. Use UP/DOWN keys to select the region
5. Press SETUP, OPEN

1. Press OPEN/CLOSE
2. Press 2, 0, 0, 1
3. Press ENTER
4. Select RC (codefree=13). You can disable MacroVision, too.
5. Press OPEN/CLOSE

1. Press DVD function on your TV set
2. Press DVD Setup on the remote
3. Press 1, 3, 6, 9
4. Press Left three times
5. Press RIGHT once
6. Select VERSION
7. Change the region code

2. Open the tray
3. Press SETUP, Right, Left, Down, Up, Display
4. Enter 0 (or 1-6 for other RC)
5. Press Enter

VCD/SVCD playback
1. Press SETUP on remote

   Ver should appear in the top right
3. Change 3001 to 3000
4. Change 5001 to 5000

1. Open the tray (be sure to be in stop mode)
2. Press SETUP, Next, Prev, Next, Prev
3. Select 255 for region free (use LEFT/RIGHT)
4. Press SETUP

1. The disc tray has to be empty
2. Press TV/DVDR
3. Press RETURN, DISPLAY
4. Enter 8, 8, 8, 0

1. Press the DVD button on the remote
2. Press OPEN

4. Press UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT
5. Change the region (0 = multi-region)

1. Push SETUP button on the remote
2. Select SYSTEM INFO on the menu
3. Enter 1, 1, 0, 1
4. It shows the current region code
5. Push 0 on the remote for region free

switch on.on the remote press "open/close",0,1,2,3,open/close and it plays straigt away. but nothing is shown on the screen.

It's true - a quality DVD player from Asda for £59.95. Highly recommended. This 1359 hack worked with my Pacific 1002 purchased March 03.
Note. There is no on screen display or any indication on the machine when entering the hack.

Switch machine on and using the remote control only:
1. Press 'open/close' button (the draw should be left open).
2. Press the 'clear' button.
3. Press '1'.
4. Press '3'.
5. Press '6'.
6 Press '9'.
7. Press '0' (zero for multi-region).
8. Press 'open/close' button.

2. Press 1, 6, 7, 1, 9 on your remote
3. Select region code (0 for all regions)

RCA DRC230N / DRC230L / DRC232N / DRC233N

1. Power on player
2. Open the tray
3. Enter 1, 6, 7, 1, 9
OSD shows current region
4. Enter 0-6 for region setting before screen disappears
   (Enter 0 for region free)
   Display shows new region assignment (displays "ALL" if 0 is selected)

1. Turn on the player without any disc inside
2. Enter the code "321 789 456" before the player menu appears
3. Select 'all' in the appearing list for regionfree

1. Wait for the menu to load
2. Press INFO

It's not the dvd; it's your player. I'm answering my own question. I did a search and found a code that needs to be set into my dvd player. So do a google search asking "wrong region" and the name of your dvd player. Someone is sure to have hacked through the problem and is more than willing to tell you how to fix it. Worked for me! Why does this even happen?

Try and see if this will work...

1-Power on the player.
2-Ensure disc tray is empty.
3-Wait for (no disc)to be displayed.
4-Enter 0086000 with the remote control ,then press ok.
5-Then enter with the remote control 00009 then ok
this should verify you have region 0
if it does all is ok.
6-Then you need to push system menu button.
7-The first page you come to will be general
you need to change the video output to ntsc,dont worry it will revert back to pal when you exit system menu..and only has to done once to set the hack.
THIS HAS TO BE DONE TO ALLOW HACK TO READ ALL TYPES OF DISCS E.G NTSC AMERICAN.

Alright, just follow these steps and let me know if you have any problems or questions

1. Power and switch on the Durabrand DVD player.
2. Open the DVD disc tray tray or lid.
3. Press Stop.
4. Press 3 - 5 - 9 - 7 (3597 in sequence). Can be done on remote control.
5. Hidden DVD Region menu appears. Select region 0 or 9 using up or down button on remote control
6. Press OK.
7. Close the disc tray and press Standby on the DVD player front

Try this method to change the region.
1. Switch player on, making sure that there's no disc in the tray.
2. Close tray.
3. Using the remote control, key in the following: MENU, 1, 9.
4. A menu will appear with the region option near the bottom of the screen.
5. Press ENTER, enter the desired region AND PRESS ENTER again to save the desired region.
6. Next press OPEN / CLOSE.

Switch player on and make sure there is no disc in the tray.
CLose tray and press menu,1,9.

A menu should appear with the region option at about the third line from the bottom. Press enter and enter the region you want("0" for free zone) . Next press open/close.
