Check and replace the inflated capacitors on the power/invertor board. The generated 12 volts are unstable and protection cirquit turns the invertors off to avoid damage to the IC
1. Verify the monitor's power cord is plugged firmly into the wall outlet and the back of the monitor.
2. Verify the monitor cable is firmly connected to the computer and the monitor.
3. Verify that you have turned the monitor power switch on.
4. If the power light on the monitor is not on, test the wall outlet (plug in a light or something you know works).
5. If the power light on the monitor is not on, try a different power cord.
6. If the power light is on and yellow or flashing, but nothing displays, or the display is incorrect, borrow a monitor from a friend. If that works, your monitor probably needs replaced.
its easy ! i read the problem it might be a mistake like once i wanted to go on my account but it said there is no such username but i typed it correctly later, i sent them an email about the problem and it got fixed so just send them an email about it.
This is a common issue on LCD display caused by a short circuit in the inverter area. As soon the power supply detects the short circuit, it shut off the power to the display.
As user, there is nothing you can do. If you are planning to fix it (and have previous electronics repair experience) you may want to read how this type of displays can be fixed.
Do not try if you don't know anything about high voltage.
You either have a bad inverter board in the unit or a lamp problem, also there are known issues with these units having bad capicitors in them. It is more fesable to replace it then repair it sorry :-(
