DeLonghi AS690 Airstream Stainless Steel Toaster Oven with Convection Cooking Logo
Posted on Jan 03, 2008

Heating elements We have had our DeLonghi toaster oven for years now and love it. Recently the lower pair of heating elements have been elongating and generally look like they need to be replaced. Any ideas on where we can get new ones and how to install them?

I need to purchase a new upper element as the existing one had warped at one end and now reaches down about 5 cm. Where can I purchase a new element?

I have the same problem with my AS670 toaster oven. The upper heating rod is elongated. Does anyone know what the part number is for a replacement part and where do I get one?

Delonghi xr640 toasting-finished chime not working

follow this steps and fix it. God bless you

f the oven doesn't work at all, make sure the circuit breaker or fuse is on at the electrical service panel and test the electrical cord . If the oven doesn't work on its toaster and oven functions, test the main switch . As needed, check the fuse .
If the toaster function doesn't turn off unless the door is open, test the solenoid, the switch and if necessary, the thermostast.

Location of the typical toaster oven's thermal fuse.
If the toaster oven stays on when the door is opened, check the main switch . If the oven doesn't heat, test the heating elements.

My toaster oven stopped heating all together.

your heating element has gone bad or there is some bad wiring in the oven itself

to check open up the toaster oven and look at the wires coming from the heating elements inside to the timer on the front panel if there is no bad wiring then the heating elements are bad and the toaster oven needs to be replaced

Bottom elements on DeLonghi AD699 failed.

Solution: buy a new toaster oven. I determined that the manufacturer stopped selling replacement heating elements in 2006, three years after the model year (2003). After market parts makers don't sell the elements for safety and liability reasons. So I got a new one.

Delonghi AS690 toaster oven lower element won't turn on.

Cactus Bob Is WRONG. I've had these replaced; and then, when it happened subsequently, bought the part and replaced it myself. You have to take the entire thing apart. but it can be done.

Lower heating eliments don't heat or glow. Only top ones work

The elements are not orderable, but you can call Cuisinart with your serial number - the product has a 3-year warranty, and that is definitely a defect - will they glow if you put them on Toaster setting?
