Cactus Bob Is WRONG. I've had these replaced; and then, when it happened subsequently, bought the part and replaced it myself. You have to take the entire thing apart. but it can be done.

Sometimes they have a external fuse which is close to where the wire goes in. Or, the element has failed. Do you have a digital multimeter? Both items are easy to test. It could the the select switch might be broken then or it could be because it is also broken too and you should buy a new toaster oven.

Check that toaster is on the right amperage circuit (15A is standard) and that nothing else is on that circuit at same time. If that is not the problem, then the unit is "toast" and needs to be replaced. Spare parts are not available.

They are usually a crimped on connection.

Hi, Try to set the toaster to a darker setting. this will make the toast stay down longer. But keep an eye on it as it can burn. As for the other side not working. Unplug it and look carefully at the heat coils. If there is a break in the wire you will have to take it to be repaired. Good luck.

Hi, if the the toaster already quit, that could be probably the fuse that got busted on your Oven. you can check with any local technician in your area to see on how you can get it changed.
