The part (element) cannot be bought , its connectors are welded into place ........ if you realy love your oven , you can get one by shopping in a goodwill store for a used oven and cut the element out and cut and weld the element into your oven ........ this does work ,i have done it

Toaster ovens are inexpensive, may be better to replace the unit, then fix it.

The toaster (upper) part of our 4-slice toaster oven model 6067 suddenly stopped working after several months of using it consistently. Will return it to Target but hoping it's an easy fix. We kind of like...

Hi there. I just repaired mine. The wire connected to left side (as you are looking at the front of the toaster) of the front top heating coil had come off. I replaced all four of the crimps going to each side of each of the top two heating coils as well as the wire going between the front and back coils on the left side. Make sure that you use HIGH TEMP crimps and HIGH TEMP wire. I had the crimps and purchased the wire from a ma and pa repair shop here in my town1_24_2012_10_47_09_pm.jpg

Heating element no longer works. is there a fuse or is it the coil that's the problem?

I had the same problem and discovered it was the plug on the heating element was loose. I'd check continuity with a ohm meter across the coil. If it shows a closed circuit there isn't anything wrong with the element itself and could be as simple and cheap as tightening up the connector.

The upper element does not heat

depends on how old the oven is it can be taken apart while unplugged!!! and check the connections, if its old sometimes the elements just go and its easier and safer to just buy a new one

Heating elements

I think this is a common problem with these kind of toaster ovens. Mine isn't a Toastmaster - mine is Cook's Essentials (from QVC), and my upper elements have also warped and split, although mine are curved downwards.
