AAA advised me to open and close door with key

Car would not start but lights worked. Made noise like dead battery. AAA advised me to open and close door 7 times with key then turn key half way in ignition, wait 30 seconds and start car. Car started right up. Initially thought battery was dead. Now Bose radio reads SAFE and won't go on.This never happened before. WIl this problem persist?

Yes. Because the security system was "set". You need the code to unlock the security system for the radio. It is like that for theft pruposes. Best bet is to go to the dealership to have them reset it or figure out how to get the code for your radio.

Dead battery on 2004 mountaineer and can't open doors.

I thought this vehicle has an actual key (not just a fob) that goes in the ignition switch. So the same key should manually open the doors also...
If you cannot open the door with the key for some reason ... there is always the coat hanger trick ... or call AAA:

The key remote won't open my 2007 xl7 , i changed the battery &that was not the issue, i used the key to open the drivers door. when i put the key in the ignition it won't start & key won't come out

i cant guess what battery was changed
in the FOB or in the CAR? under hood. battery?????
my wild guess is this
you turn the key to ON
and the dash does not light up, no warnings?
or you turn the key and it does that but there
is no cranking sounds from the engine... area.
what?

try a better post
I try to start my car, with the key and it will not crank
or, i try to start my car, with the key but it cranks fast but will not start

Have fitted new window motor, complete Ranault part, now have no dash lights and is making a sort of clicking noise.

Sounds like you have run the battery dead with the door being open while you did the repair.

Open acura rl hood when battery is dead and doors are locked

Get into your car the same way you would if you locked your keys in the car. Call AAA or try a coat hanger.

2000 Chrysler Sebring w/year old battery.  Advise, what could have occurred when AAA jump me???  Left tiny interior light on under my mirror--battery dead.  After AAA came, I let it run

I doubt the service person did anything wrong. In today's cars with both engine and body computers, jump starting a car can be risky.
You're better off having the battery charged for an hour or so then trying to start it.
You may have to have the body computer scanned and possibly flashed to get everything working again. The body computer controls everything you mentioned. It could have lost some of the factory programming when the system was dead.

Tried to get into my 2008 Nissan Altima with the key and it won't unlock the door or the trunk. Called AAA and they could unlock the door manually but they couldn't open the doors. Tried opening the door...

well are you taling using a keyfob or actually inserting the key if a keyfob no battery power will cause the doors not to unlock

the actual key in the slot should work and is your back up

mostlikely you need a new battery either in your keyfob or the car
