I changed my lock code last night and forgot it

Go to the Android device manager and log in to your gmail account. There are options to locate, lock, and wipe the device. Select lock and enter a new password. The recovery message can be left blank.

It should be the last four digits of the phone number on that phone. If it was changed, If you move the phone onto a different phone number the lock code will default to the last 4 digits of that phone number. Then move the phone back onto your phone number and it will be reset to the last 4 digits of your phone number.

You need to master reset the phone. Contact your service provider to get the master reset code at free of cost.

the default is always one of these code try them all the last four digits of the phonenumber last programmed in the phone aka your number or 9999,1234,4321,0000,1111 if none of those work you can go the retail store for a flash they hook it to the computer and push software to the phone to correct the issue it takes five mins and its free its a common issue for them to correct if you change your lock code from the default in the future always set up a dummy contact with it in there so that you can easily look it up

The purpose of *228 is to update your PRL (Preferred Roaming List) to update for Towers changes/additions: IT IS NOT AN UNLOCK CODE 'programming' of any type!

u can't use unlock code to reset the mobile, u need security code

press *228 then hit send when you hear a recording hit 1 the wait when it says : programming sucsessfull hit ok. then it should go back to the "enter lock code" screen. enter the last 4 digits in your phone # and it should be back to normal
