Ibm netvista 8305 61u audio driver windows 7 32bit?

The same model Netvista can have different types of network, video and audio drivers and unless you know exactly which one is installed in your Netvista, you need to download all the drivers and install each driver until you find the right driver. When you download the drivers, write down the device driver and it's file name so you have a record of which driver you are installing and which directory the unzipped files are located on your hard drive. Go to the IBM/Lenovo WEB site - support/download page and download the latest Windows device drivers for your model computer, Use this link: - http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/product.do?template=%2Fproductselection%2Flandingpages%2FbrowseByProductLandingPage.vm&sitestyle=lenovo&brandind=10&validate=true

Go to the Lenovo Support web site then select to Download Drivers and Software, select the Find Product page tab, then Desktops & all-in-ones, then Netvista desktops, then Netvista Personal computer, then 8303, then All models and you will be given a list of all available driver downloads.

Will try to make a long story short...Attempting to install Windows XP Prof. on a friend's IBM NetVista 6645 Model W2U which he purchased from someplace. It already has XP Prof. installed, but my friend...

Can you get into the BIOS configuration to enable the CD and USB drive?
If so enable these devices.
Check the interior of the desktop to see if the CD drive and USB connectors are still connected.

My ethernet controllers are missing and i need to know where i can get them and how to reinstall them on an ibm netvista 8303 pc windows XP pro operating system ?

Google your model number to find drivers from the manufacturer; do not go to third party sites. you should be able to find a self-installing driver program, but if you need to install manually, heres how:

Right click on My Computer.
Click Manage.
Find the Device Manager section.
The Ethernet Controller should have a yellow mark if the drivers are missing. Double click it to bring up options for the device.
Find the drivers tab and click 'update driver"
When it asks, try letting it find the driver automatically.
If that fails, tell it you want to specify the driver location and choose the folder you downloaded and click through.

Ibm 845 e motherboard problem

IBM Netvista PC is not ready for Windows XP, you should update its BIOS on its version so that you can install windows XP, maybe ACPI is not ready yet for this motherboard compliance to Windows XP, so download it at www.ibm.com

IBM NetVista M41 PC Desktop Os Install Impossible

You probably need an OEM version of XP...not that IBM version. If you buy an OEM version, you can use it many computers. A real XP disc will partition, format, and delete partitions on any functioning Hard drive. Don't buy a recovery disc, please. That just sounds WRONG.

A cheaper solution might be a new Hard Drive...but I don't trust your IBM version of XP.

IBM Netvista desktop bios problem

this is more like a workaround that I used on a laptop which cd room drive just failed (and which I did not want to replaced as it was more expensive than the whole laptop)

If you can't select the device you want to boot from.. you may want to partition your hdd and format it so it loads a dos operating sytem .. use another machine and a win98 startup disk to do this then copy your I386 folder from your winxp cd into the new formatted hdd so when you put the hdd back into the IBM machine it loads dos and then going into the I386 folder you can run a winnt command for you to install the os.

USB 2 PCI card installation on IBM NetVista with MS Vista

Lucy,

USB 2.0 cards require 2 IRQs.
  • 1 IRQ supports USB 1.1
  • and the other the Enhanced (USB 2.0) controller.
Installing the USB 2.0 card in a slot that does NOT share an IRQ or shares an IRQ with onboard USB produces the best result. Consult your motherboard manual or online guide to determine which PCI slot is best for you.

You should also try disabling the on board USB support from BIOS setup.

Thanks

Can't upgrade the USB ports to Version 2.0

Hi cogilbert,
I had a similar problem with my PC which had older version 1 USB. I purchased a USB 2 PCI card with USB Hub, installed and problem solved. It really not a very expensive proposition. The card comes with the necessary software and drivers. It works great.
