I have the same exact TV, with the same problem!
I found out that Zenith has a class action litigation open thru July 2010
Your Optic Light Engine is Defective and Zenith has to replace it for free
Or give you a new 50" Plasma or 44" LCD.
Here is the link with all the details ** http://www.zenithservice.com/index_b2c.jsp
Call the service center and let them know what your problem is and that you know
about the litigation. They will have a tech call you and troubleshoot it over the phone.
Then they will order the Light Engine and have a Tech come to your house and
replace it. It will cost you nothing!!!

Blue light

You cannot. The blue blotch is a sign that your optical block is going out. This will only get worse. The optical block will need to be replaced. This is not cost effective.

Panasonic DLP TV has huge yellow blotch covering most of the screen

SET uses a optical light engine--lamp which is quite hot shines into the engine---blue is first to get the light and heat and is usually first area in the lens and baffles to get damaged(loss of blue leaves red and green which equal a yellow screen.

You have a damaged light engine.

Blue spots on pictures

there is an adjustment that can be done by an authorized tech, this is not something you can do. it is a voltage adjustment that needs to be done . the panel has now come to full conditioning and needs to have changes to the power that drives it. it gets worse because of the higher voltages that are feeding it.
