Wow, those are some amazingly unhelpful posts.

The ScanJet 3570c is obsolete, you aren't going to find a driver from HP for Mac OS X 10.9 Mavericks, or likely anything after Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger.

sure you select your model scanner and the XP orVista Windows version of the drivers you require

You did not say what operating system you use.

Yes it has a replacement. Try to find it in some computer stores.

Download the file above > unplug your scanner > install the file above > reboot your computer (if needed) > login into your account > plug the scanner into your usb port > it should automatically detect your scanner > goto device manager > imaging device > right click HP Scan Jet .... > Click on Driver Tab > Click on Roll Back Driver > choose to run the driver on windows xp compatibility mode.

Or use the compatibility wizard to set scanjet pro to run on windows xp compatibility mode

If you used your drivers disk you will need to uninstall and remove all the hp software. Download the correct drivers from HERE and install them instead. (click here for more info)

Scanning Without HP Hardware

1. Click Start
2. Control Panel
3. Click Scanners and Cameras
4. Click on the Icon and follow the Scanner and Camera Wizard instructions.
5. Select the HP scanning device from the TWAIN source list
6. Click File and then Scan New .

this problem occurs when the Scanner is not detected by the computer.

so check i f u can use another USB cable.
