I have a Nostalgia Electrics 50's Style Automatic Ice Maker, Model# RIC-Series. It was purchased a few months back and worked great. Now the mechanism that serves the ice is working fine and all the off an on buttons work etc, but the water is not getting cold to make ice and the fan is not spinning. Nothing has changed since it has been making ice and I would like to have it repaired or find out if there is something I can replace or do get it working. Please Advise, Thanx, Marilou

Sounds like the intake line at the entrance to the refrigerator is plugged with lime residue. It has a needle valve in the center and will clog with foreign material, this can be cleaned out by forcing compressed air pressure backwards thru this connection to remove tiny particles inside.
Try to google for it but if unsuccessful you may have to resort to some sort of repair that will do the trick. May not look great but if it works, then.............................
I found the manual able to be downloaded on multiple sites. Go to Google, type in the words old fashioned ice cream maker, and in the returns you will find links to web addresses that have these manuals available for downloading using Adobe. The original manuals in both English and Spanish. I didn't save the webaddresses, but I can assure you that they are there on Google. Don't type in Nostalgic Electrics Old Fashioned Ice Cream Server, just old fashioned ice cream server, and then go to the web address, it's the one that states they have the manuals for all ice cream makers, and type in the ICM-507 product designation or just click the available picture of the ICM-507. I will try and recover that web address and post it here. Found it! Here it is: www.pickyourown.org/icecreammakermanuals.htm I can assure you it is there! if you want the whole enchalada: www.pickyourown.org/icecream/Nostalgia%20%old%fashioned%20%soft%20serve%20ice%20cream%20maker%20manual%20ICM-562.pdf. And thats the real "skinny" for this model folks! Whew, you'll have carpal tunnell time you put all that in there. Kindest regards, Joe R. Downs Jr.
