Well, since its a nano and they don't actually turn off, it actually shorted out as soon as it fell in the pond, so its done for... i'd throw it in the trash can...

Sometimes if you leave it sit for several days or so it will dry out completely and start to work again. I don't recommend charging it or plugging it in for several days or so as if there is still water in it, it may fry some of the chips. It may be beyond repair though.
