SOURCE: Sharp Blu-Ray model BD-HP20X locked to region 4 how to unlock ?
Well I Checked my data resources and saw that there are no hacks or tricks for Sharp yet... the only thing you can try doing now is to ask your Dealership if they can unlock the regions for you. I've searched everywhere but couldn't find anything for newer models like HDDVD or Blu-Ray players.
Sorry T_T But let's hope someone might be able to help as well..

This is not easy and requires a lot of technical ability stripping the machine down and soldering in a chip and other components, it will certainly invalidate the warranty and also kill the machine completely if you get it wrong.
if you do want to do it this is the link to get the kit.

SOURCE: What is the unlock code
There's only a single way to unlock a bluray system- with the use of a special chip that you must solder over the controller chip - an extremely delicate job. Finding the chip will also be difficult - it's illegal to own and use. Use it at your own risk
