The HP IPAQ 6515 will support WLAN access via a SDIO WIFI card (which looks like a 'long' standard SD card): it is just a bit tricky to get this add-onl SDIO WIFI card to work properly!

My hp ipaq hw6515 does not read my Afghanistan's sim card

The IPAQ 6515 will only work with GSM Simm and network. It is also NOT 3G compatible.
You can verify that the 6515 is working with another network SIMM, then it is likely that your Simm card is not compatible and may in fact be design on Afghanistan's 'Analog' network.
Incidentally, the 6515 will also not work in Japan even with a working 'roaming' SIMM as the Japanese Mobile Network is also not compatible!
Hope it helps!

IPAQ 6515 doesn't recognize new HP 8Gig SD card

Your 8 Gig card is a SDHC (HC=High Capacity) Card. All HC cards use a different format, which the 6515 can't use...

The biggest capacity the 6515 can use is 4 gig on the SD and 2 gig on the mini SD.

My 4g Transcend card and 2g Sandisk cards have been faultless for about 2 years now.

Sorry, but the 8 gig card is a wonderfull card, but is useless in a 6515

HW6515 Phone Option Screen fail to launch

Sounds like it might be time to test things in a vanilla fresh setup.......... -Backup your system via iPAQ backup to an SD card (or ipaq file store if you have room) Warning, following will delete all main memory and set back to factory default! -do a hard reset (hold in power and reset for 20 seconds) -Test programs again, see if it acts the same. You can then restore your setup via iPAQ backup again if needed. You can also poke around the following site for suggestions on tested task managers and today screen apps. (I use HandySwitcher)
