Unfortunately, it is not likely that you can replace the Mosfet yourself. The Mosfet is part of the amplifier circuit, and it is highly likely that the amplifier board will need to be replaced. Replacing the amplifier board is a complex process that is best left to a qualified technician.

Centre channel pops

Popping is usually a sign that the output transistor on the amp (center channel) has blown - quite expensive to repair. eBay is good for picking up cheap but fully working receivers

Taking it to a repair centre would be the best thing to do, or asking them whether it's worth them looking at it. With the price of electronic goods these days, unfortunately the customer is better off financially replacing the item rather than paying the cost of repairs.

Hi Ive got an Olympus SP-550UZ digital Camera

Hello

Thank you for using FixYa for your problem

Always check the batteries first but if is it still giving the same fault, your camera is faulty. "Zoom error" is repairable
It should be taken to an authorized repair centre for a repair estimate. Very few digital cameras have any user-serviceable parts.

Please rate our solutions and if you still have problems please call back for more ideas to help you

Thanks

My right speaker is no longer working. I have an

This could be as simple as a bad connection or more derastic like defective output transistors. Without looking at the unit and taking measuerments, it is impossible to say. As silly as this sounds, make sure you didn't hit the balance control all the way to the left. If not that, then I would suggest getting a detailed repair estimate from a servicer. Report the results of that estimate here and we should be able to walk you through the actual repair.

Samsung AV-R720 - front right speaker crackles

THIS RECEIVER IS JUNK. I had the same problem with my receiver and Samsung gave me a new unit as it was under warranty. 8 months later the replacement which was brand new did the same thing. Samsung tells me it is my problem now. I should have demanded another unit. the best advice I have is not to buy this product. Samsung won't help you when it breaks and it will break. Nobody seems to know how to fix it.......

Caused speakers to smoke:(

If it's the speaker cabinet itself that';s smoking, you have most likely burnt some components in the passive crossover. Pull it out and you may see melted parts or scorching on the circuit board. Peavy does repairs on it's own products pretty reasonably if there's no local tech. Call Peavey Customer Srervice at 877-732-8391.

Csi sp-6c removal

Your speaker cover should either twist and gently pull off or may just need gentle prying with a small screwdriver. Before attempting is your speaker grill foam or metal. Some like my pioneers, you must gently remove the actual grill and not the entire facia itself to access the speaker removal. If you need to remove the grill, i recommend using a tiny screwdriver and gently work around the edges evenly. Steve

No sound out of centre speaker

Make sure your amp is set to a channel which plays on all speakers (5.1).
If you have the amp set to "Stereo", it is only the frontspeakers and subwoofer which play sound.
