I have a Kariba W/D combo. How do you empty the lint?

Turn off the water at the stop tap near the machine.
Set the machine to a program and press start, and then turn the machine off. This is purely to relieve pressure in the pipes.
Remove the hoses from the back of the machine and in the threaded part of the machine you will see a wire gauze strainer. This is probably blocked with lime scale and debris. Remove it and clean it with a brush under running water. If you can see limescale in it, soak in white vinegar for a few hours.
Now you need to prove that the water supply is good. If you have a laundry sink next to it, use that, or if not get a large bucket, the bigger the better, in fact a dustbin is the best size! Have someone hold the bucket and hose whilst someone else turns the water on. You should get lots of water.
Put the strainers back in, reconnect the hose and check for leaks. Also note that hoses should be changed every 10 years and should have a date on them. Now would be a good time to change them, and you may as well get new strainers.

Joan, just enter the name and model of your machine into a web browser, i.e. google, bing, yahoo et al, and the words spare parts, spares, or the like along with your state, / county / city / town and hit the search button, this should throw up plenty of results that you can trawl throygh and select your preferred supplier.

Who made the machine? Find the model number go to: repairclinic.com or appliancepartspros.com or searspartsdirect.com
Each of these sites has a search bar where you can enter your model number. An owner's manual will probably be available. If you have trouble give me your model number and i will try to find you one. Hope this helps.

Is this a ventless dryer? I.e. a condensing dryer?
If so, there is a filter that filters the lint out of the water in the condensing unit. Check your owner's manual to find out how to service this. It is usually a little door on the front, bottom of the unit.
If it is not a ventless dryer, then the only filter I know is the lint screen.
