EdgeStar DWP61ES turns itself on and off, display shows H:01 then counts up through H:24 then either turns off or starts the count again.

Many owners of the Bosch dishwashers perceive h01 (h: 01) or h02 (h: 02) and other signs as an error. But in fact, this is not an error, and you accidentally got into the start-up timer menu (delayed start of washing dishes). In this case, h01 means that washing dishes will start exactly in 1 hour; if the display shows h02, then washing process will begin exactly in 2 hours. As a rule, in most models of dishwashers from Bosch, a delayed start can be set in the range from 1 to 24 hours.

Timer programming You can delay the start of the program in 1-hour steps up to 24 hours.
  1. Close the door.
  2. Switch on ON/OFF switch [1].
  3. Press button [4] + until the digital display [9] jumps to h:01
  4. Press [4] + or - button until the displayed time corresponds with your requirements.
  5. Press START button [6], timer programming is activated.
  6. To delete timer programming, press the [4] + or - button until h:00 is indicated on the digital display [9].
You can change your program selection at any time until the program starts.

Bosch Dishwasher SMS40A08GB Silver Edition. Check Water light comes on but no error codes.

The unit may have developed a leak underneath and it may have a bad heater element. Pull the unit forward and put towels behind it on the floor, tilt it back 45 degrees to drain the water, wipe up the excess and put it back in position. Test it.

Not water comes into Bosch dishwasher?

Assuming you have verified water is actually getting to water valve, most likely water valve is the problem and needs replacing.

Bosch washing machine starts filling with water, then does nothing, timer counts down but no movment

have a technician check it out as it may be a board problem
normally the fill level switch ,when the set water level is reached activates 2 things
it stops the water in and at the same time moves the program on to start the wash cycle
so it is either that switch or the program board

My SHE4402UC/36 dishwasher malfunctioned all the lights were flashing and the machine was trying to drain. The guy came out and replace the control board. The dishwasher now read 199 on all cycles except...

well its not baloney but it is cheesey. normally changing the module is the cure but it has to be programmed correctly. bosch has a recall so check it out and see because the recall is free and the tech is suppose to know how to program it. go to thermedor .com and get the #. i am a old bosch tech.

Bosch dishwasher not taking in water

May be open circuit water valve. Appliance will go to error mode if water level has not reached a certain height after a preset time. Check coil continuity with a multi meter. Should be looking for about 200 ohms.
