Dyna Glo Workhorse 65000 BTU heater. Why doesn't it ignite?

I know it hasn't run for about 5 years. The fuel tank was empty. The previous owner took care of it like all his tools. New fuel is in it, but when turn on can here and feel blower but doesn't ignite. After 10 sec. The blower shuts down and the red light blinks on/off per sec

If the internal magic eye doesn't see a flame it will shut down for safety reasons.
As it isn't starting it could be fuel isn't being sprayed from the spray head or the spark is absent or perhaps the fuel is being sprayed but isn't in the finely atomised spray that burns easily.

Hearing and feeling the blower only proves the motor is running producing a combustion airflow; important but only when there is combustion. I am unfamiliar with the model but usually there is an air pump behind the motor that produces low pressure air to supply the spray head which works like a paint spray gun or carburettor - air is pushed through a venturi and creates a vacuum that sucks fuel from the tank.
It is possible the solid carbon vanes in the pump are stuck or damaged or there is a fuel blockage.

The spark transformer is highly stressed and they sometimes fail.

You will need to remove the cover and check a few things inside...

Have dyna glo forced air kerosene heater, 65000 btu. It's about 10 years old. Not getting fuel to nozzle. Cleaned fuel filter; replaced hoses; cleaned nozzle. air pressure gauge shows pressure OK.

Are the hoses on the fuel nozzle right. Air hose to the front and fuel to the rear. Did you remove the nozzle from the adaptor to check the o-ring? Let me know what you find.

My Dyna Glo heater forced air heater worked great last year. I run it on Diesel and ran it empty before putting it away for the summer. Went to fire it up and it wouldn't work. Replaced all of the cracked...

the filter in the tank line is partially clogged with gel from useing diesel fuel you should really use a anti gel agent when running a sulphur type fuel in a unit designed for white gas/ keosene

E 1 error on Dyna-Glo Workhorse Kerosene Turbo Heater

Take the top off of the heater and and clean the nozzel orifice, while you have it apart wipe off the photo cell and clean and regap spark plug. The nozzel unscews and you can clean it with a bread tie.

After this clean or change the fuel filter in the tank, and finally check the pump pressure and make sure it is inline with the owner manual. This is assuming that it is firing to begin with
