Runs for about 1 minute then shuts down.
Its means there is a problem with the stepper motor which controls throttle opening and closing directed by the controller
It means the governor/rev limiter is allowing the engine to spin faster than it should. When that happens it can increase the voltage past controllable limits.

If the mag overheats because its not being cooled it will shut down until its cool.
If the fan is turning slow you can try oiling it but it likely needs replacing.
Another thing that causes this is that the exaust port is blocked because its upagainst the wall and the hot air can not escape.

Make sure that the throttle linkage is all there and not damaged/misadjusted, then get a manometer and check your inlet gas pressure. Gas pressure should be 8 inches of water column and stay there running or not.

HI. this is being caused by a defective or damaged Program control module. you will need to replace this failed module asap if possible. this Program Control Module cost about $151.00. we recommend this module to be installed by a qualified Bosh service tech.

Sounds like Generator mode switch should be "ON".

Buy a can of throttle valve cleaner (do not use carburetor spray cleaner!) from NAPA or Carquest (made by CRC chemicals) and spray it into the air intake while the engine is running, use up about 1/2 the can, engine will try to stall hold the speed up, shut it down and let it soak for 30 minutes, restart and blow out the remaining fluid, shut it down and disconnect the negative battery cable for 5 Min's to reset the base idle control
