Well unless its a solar powered ice dispenser and the sun has'nt set yet, you want to find the long flexible string looking thing that will be coming out of the unit. Its called a power cord and if you follow it all the way to wherever it ends ( likely a little part of the wall with 2 up and down slots and a hole centered a bit lower just between the slots), once you reach the end pull it and it should come out of the wall. That will probably make it stop. If that does not make it stop, look up "battery" and get familiar with what one is and how it looks. Then see if your dispenser has any of those and remove them if they do. But thats more of a job left up to a whole other set of skills that may just be easier to pay for as opposed to the time you will invest trying to learn. But that oughtta bout get ya fixed up, at least ice melts so you dont hafta worry about where you are gonna store all the ice thats been coming out non stop. Glad to be of service...

That could be a sign of a drippy water valve. When water valves get a little age on em they drip like an old faucet. Also if the ice maker itself overfills or is not level then a tad of water gets into the bin. This makes the ice stick together. An unusually long dwell in the auto defrost cycle can also cause the cues to melt and stick together. The only way to fix it is to do some diagnostics.
