SIMPLY REINSTALL ITS SOFTWARE AND UPDATE IT ON YOUR CONTROL PANEL- DEVICE MANAGER. THUS, IT WILL BE ABLE TO RECOGNISE YOUR ROUTER.

KEEP IN TOUCH IF IT STILL GOES LIKE THAT SO WE COULD ARRIVE TO NEW ALTERNATIVES.

THANKS

I cannot reconnect with my ASUS WL-520GC Router after blocking a mac address. While it was reconfiguring the new setting the connection was disconnected before it was finished. Now it has stopped work

You will need to do a "hard reset" which usually requires you to hold in the reset button (30 sec) as you turn on the device.

They always warn against changing settings over the wireless for exactly this reason.

ASUS RX3041 connection problems

Hello,

For whatever reason, your router is having trouble handling the traffic with both computers running at once.

This might be a small issue concerning the routing table.
Since it does still work generally, I would try simply reseting the router.

There should be a small pin hole on the back of the router to reset it.

Thanks,

Pat

I am using asus rx3041, every time i switch it on it always ask to configure it.

Your cmos battery is dead and it can't remember the settings. Find the small button cell battery on the motherboard and replace it with a new one. You'll be asked to enter the settings one more time. If that doesn't work make sure the cmos/bios reset jumper is set to standard and not reset.

Does the Asus RX3041 work on a PPPoA network

Off course it will work but you the software from your ISP. It is resposible for connecting to your ISP which then assigns a dynamic IP for you for each session and the IP is whichever happens to be availble at the ISP's server end.................sodeep
