I have a philips dptv305 the picture is rounded out in the corners which throws the colors off a little also in hd 1080i there is a line in the center verticaly and displays two of the same picture is this all a convergence problem?

Convergence Problem
This is a very common failure on Projection TV sets.
Screen looks 3D
Colors don't line up
One or more colors can't be adjusted when using the convergence menu.
Screen is bowed or warped.

The colors are seperating and the picture is out of focus

The most common cause is failed convergence ICs and resistors. The DPTV305-DPTV345 convergence repair kit from www.tvrepairworld.com should solve that problem. The kit also contains the CD with instructions.

Double images-picture on tv is in unalligned red and green colors

Connecting hd cable box to philips 60 rear projection

So, You have Five cable leads, The rgb get plugged into there corresponding colors and the other two are your Red and White Audio Input ------Correct? You do not use the in4, that is for a pc with horiz and vert sync. You use input 1 rgb and plug the red and white into the audio input.....your done!
