I have a dometic 2200a 3-way fridge that doesn't work on LPG

I have a dometic 2200a fridge that works on 110v but not on gas or 12v. Why?
No problems lighting the gas burner, and the tower (?) runs hot, but the fridge will not get cold (also will not work on 12v). The fridge works great on 110v.
Any help will be appreciated.

SOURCE: dometic rm 2607 makes a gurgling sound when

If your cooling unit is gurgling, then you have air in the system or a bad cooling unit. There is a process known as "burping" that should help repair this. It is a rather lengthy process and will require two people.

1. Access the rear of the refrigerator. Turn off the LP gas to the unit. Remove the LP Gas line and the 12Volt supply. Unplug the fridge.
2. Remove the screws in the rear at the bottom and then remove the screws from the inside.
3. Pull the fridge out and lay it down on it's right side for 8 hours.
4. Flip the fridge on it's top for 8 hours
5. Now the left side, then back to normal.
6. Reinstall the fridge and turn gas back on.

Hope this helps,

Jeff

SOURCE: I have a Dometic RV fridge that wont get cold. it

It sounds like your cooling unit is going out. Here's a couple of things to check. Do you smell any ammonia when you open either one of the doors? When you look at the rear of the fridge, do you see anything that looks like rusty water that has run down any of the metal tubes and dried up? If the answer to either one of these is "yes", then youll need to start looking for a new fridge or replace the cooling unit on the one that you have.

Will not run electric but runs on 12volt and gas

The verry first thing is to ensure that the rear coils of the cooling system are not warm. These coils can be accessed through the rear vent of refrigerator. If these coils are warm and the fridge is level then you more then likely require a cooling system. (Link Below)
If the coils are not warm, then you must ensure you have 110V on the plug that the refrigerator plugs into. It is located at the rear of the fridge and can be accessed through the vent panel of RV. Iv you do have 110V at the plug, then you may want to then check the fuses located inside the electronic board on the fridge. It is also located on rear of the fridge and can be accessed through the vent. If both fusses in tact, then the problem is more then likely your heating element that is bad. The heating element is located in the duct work on the right hand side looking at the fridge from the rear. You mentioned that your fridge also works on 12V so you will have two heating elements. The one with the yellow wires is the the 12V heating element, you do not have to remove that one. You must remove the other in which it is either black or white wires. The wires simply disconnect from the electronic boad and the heating element will slide upward to be removed. It sometimes takes some twisting to get it loosened up.If you have any questions please feel free to contact ArctiCold Refrigeration We keep it cold

My 3-way Dometic fridge works on gas but stopped working on 240V! ....Why?

With the 240V element diconnected, test it with an ohm meter to find it was open circuit. No heat! The 12v element still had resistance.
At the moment gas is still keeping my cool while I wait for a new element to arrive. ..... cheers
