Replaced battery and now kenwood dnx690hd will not work

please check the wires of the speaker for damage. If interchangeable with the other working speakers, please temporarily swap them at check if the good speakers continue to work. If so, then you would need to most likely get the rear speaker replaced or repaired.

is the volume controled on the phone? then you might want you dail it up before turning on the kenwood.. also make sure that your phone is in an accepable bluetooth distance

Water and electronics do not mix as you have found out, use a blow dryer and dry it out and then let it set a few days and see if it starts working again, if not it is just a new paperweight.

It is likely your volume potentiometer has gone bad, and needs replaced. The best solution to shut the radio off and save your batteries is to remove the batteries when you are not using the unit, until you can get it repaired or replaced.

Do not use any spray cleaners in the volume potentiometer, as this can cause a harmful residue. If you try anything, consider canned air.

Hi, yeah i have had a similar problem with an icom battery i replaced it then it was fine.
