SOURCE: Raypak gas pool heater with error code HL2

Do you have power to the heater? If you do then I would look for a hi limit switch to reset. It might be the pump you have to reset.

SOURCE: raypak heater. fault cde says (ROL)

Thank you for posting your question here on Fixya.com.

Replacing the roll out switch is an easy do-it-yourself repair. Fixing the problem causing the roll out of the burner flames in the first place is a bit more of a pro job. Something is causing to much heat to roll out the the combustion chamber into the control area causing the switch to fail. You will continue to burn the link until the underlying problem is fixed.

If this answer does not fix your problem, please comment with additional details prior to rating the answer. Positive feedback is appreciated once your problem is solved!

SOURCE: service code ROL

This indicates the flame roll out safety switch is bad. This part is usually mounted right above the burner tray. It is a white ceramic piece with two wiring terminals and an external part that looks like a resistor. This part detects flame/heat coming out from the burner tray. When replacing it, be sure to check for blockage at the burner tray, heat exchanger and the flue if vented with duct work. This is a critical safety device so do not bypass it.

SOURCE: "CLK" is being displayed on

CLK stands for Clock. Your heater thinks it is connected to a timeclock and the circuit is open. The connection is on the back of the circuit board, and a communication wire will continue on to your timeclock or controller. Close that circuit and it should fire.

Raypak pool heater shows 'sensor failure' and also 'sensor open' - what does this require/ thanks

I would check the sensor wiring on side of unit where the inlet and return manifold is - chances are little critters chewed the wires to the sensors. may need to replace the wires if they are too mangled, or can try to splice
