SOURCE: Hello. How can I reset Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ60 to factory default? (Can I reset software and hardware?) Thank you for answer

Resetting by 'Software'
Resetting to the Factory Default Settings from the interface:

  1. Go to the interface of your camera by typing in the camera's IP address in the browser. Example: http://192.168.1.253/
  2. Click Setup, Maintenance, Default Reset, Reset to default and then click Execute.
Resetting by 'Hardware' Resetting to the Factory Default Settings using the Control button:
  1. Disconnect the 'DC IN' cable from the camera.
  2. Hold down the 'Initial Set' button.
  3. Reconnect the power adapter using the 'DC IN' jack while holding down the 'Initial Set' button. Release the 'Initial Set' button after 5 seconds. (The reset could take up to 180 seconds)
  4. When the 'Status' indicator changes to green, the process is completed and the camera had a Factory Default Reset.

Hi i have rexently noticed that my phone no longer sends sound to the ear phone jack with the exception of voice calls i have switched the phone off and on but no change. What should i try next thanks

There is different sound setting for voice call and media playback.
If you press volume up key on home screen, it increase the phone call volume but not he music player volume.

You can try to increase sound of media playback. First, open music player or video player and increase the volume through volume up key. You will see media volume written on the Volume increase pop up notification.
If you still have problem, reply.

Low volume on playback

The volume control on the TV does not affect the recording. However, if you were recording from a set top box, and you turned the volume down on the box and not the TV, then this would cause the problem you describe.

If this is the case, then try to keep the STB volume at maximum and only use the TV volume control.

Also, some DVD players and VCRs have a lower output than the standard TV tuner, so an increase in volume is usually needed.

You might want to try some test recordings to see what happens.

Hey Tex

You are on the right track, sounds like a noisy volume control. Can often be repaired with a squirt of cleaner spray into the potentiometer assembly. But I suggest you use crc2-26 contact lubricant spray, not silicone spray which is a great materials lubricant, but not electrical. Worst case, the Vol Potentiometer, may have to be replaced. Go for the CRC first and see how it goes. Good Luck, happy FixYa
