SOURCE: kenwood BM450 breadmaker when kneading trips the

Hi Capt,
What all fails when your breadmaker blows the fuse.
The breadmaker is a miniature oven and if your circuit is already to the max and then the BM put it over the edge.
Now I am not saying you don't have defective unit but try to make bread in another socket in the stove. If it blows that fuse, you have a defective BM
These units are a throw away item

Remove bread maker shaft

Not sure what you are asking but to remove the paddle you need to perhaps give it a slight twist and pull upwards. It musts be cleaned regularly to ensure it moves freely to mix the dough. If you haven't cleaned it for a while perhaps a short soak in cold water will loosen it.

Bm210 drive belt not available. Can it be replaced with bm250 belt

Your drive
belt has probably either broken or come off. Make sure your machine is
unplugged and turn it on its side and take the bottom panel off. The belt is in
there. If it has snapped or come off you'll need to replace it. I have a few
belts that might fit. Hopefully your
belt will have letter/number code on the smooth side. It will look something like this: STS 80 S3M 561 . If I have it I could sell you the belt. There are several videos
on you tube that show how to put a belt on a bread machine and you could
install it yourself if I have the belt you need.

Speed seems to be slowing down every so often but then it will resume speed

Chances are you need to replace the drive belt.
These are easily available online (try Ebay or Amazon) just search by make and model number.
To access the belt you will normally need to turn the turntable upside down and unscrew the base.

I have a kenwood chef mod 703c the motor spins and drives the belt ok butwhen i engage the power switch the mixerhead does nothing, does not turn

The problem is that the clutchdog, which is normally engaged by the peg on the liquidiser cover, is worn. Remove the top casing of the machine by removing the 3 screws and all of the outlet covers. Then unscrew the top of the gear box and prise open carefully with a screwdriver to expose the gears. The clutch dog can be unscrewed. Remove the spring that is on the outside of the gearbox and replace it on the inside of the gearbox so that it pulls the clutch dog down permanently. This then needs to be screwed back once the top of the gearbox has been screwed back together. Sounds complicated but it will be obvious when you try it. The machine will then turn the main attachment hub but will remain engaged as for later model machines. Hope this helps. John UK
