Not good! Probably motor control board or motor or wiring harness from control board to motor.

F06 Drive motor tachometer error The control is unable to properly detect motor speed and the machine will shut down. If a failure occurs during high-speed spin the door will be unlocked after 3 minutes.

Potential Causes

• Check wire harness connections between the Drive Motor/Tachometer and the Motor ControlUnit (MCU), and between the MCU and the Central Control Unit (CCU)
• Check the Drive Motor
• Check the MCU
• Check the Wire Harness

watch this video to reset the computer board,if it doesn't help you have to replace the motor,this is not that good of a washer,whirlpool duet is a good washer but that's my choice
9 flashes - The brake resistor failed. This code will limit the motor to 50 rpms. Try clearing the code and if the code comes back replace the motor.

F11 Serial communication error Communication between the Central Control Unit (CCU) and the Motor Control Unit (MCU) cannot be sent correctly.

you'll need to call someone in on this one,boards are very expensive and like it says it names both the ccu and mcu boards or the motor,if you call say whirlpool they might give you the part but you pay for labor and they will have the boards on the truck,the guy will replace one board at a time to see what one is bad,not like the older machines that you can check the parts with a meter.good luck

you will need to replace the control board. the F 6 code is the communication error to the motor board.

serial communication error between central control and motor control.
Check connections at ccu (top front right corner) and mcu (bottom by motor), check belt drive for wear.
Did motor run ? Any other codes in diagnostic? (any one modifier button 4 sec on 4 secs off 5 times.) F codes are failures and C codes are portions of test cycle(automaticly run)

Be very careful on this one. It is a door lock code or main control board. Need more info.
